I have made a few projects from my wedding dress - (Click here for more).
The goal of making stuff from my wedding dress is to use as much as possible, and now i have some tiny pieces left, that I cant really use for anything else.
So it's time to make the easiest project possible, a Wedding Dress Ornament.
This project is really simple and only needs a few things.
Ornament balls from Micheal's Craft Store (or get from Amazon here).
Wedding dress scraps, can be satin, lace, beading, buttons
Optional - Cricut vinyl

There is no secret technique to making this.
Its basically pull off the topper and shove the scraps inside the ball.
I did test as couple ideas out, and found that smaller pieces are better. Trimmed as many scraps pieces as possible. Just to remove excess tulle & threads. Allowing more movement when shaking to arrange the ball's content.
So after getting everything into the ball, (gave this away already), but shake the ball to scatter everything.
Continue until happy,

Next up is decorating the outside of the ball. Using Permanent Cricut Vinyl to cut out your chosen design.
Just remember when adding the design to the surface, that its rounded. I found cutting trainagles out at the top and bottom of the transfer tape. Will help get the design on the surface smooth
Of course, you could add glitter, a special note. or whatever your imagine could think of for this project.
